We stayed at Hotel Castillo for a quick stopover on our way home from Málaga. The newly refurbished room was clean, spacious, and had a bidet in the bathroom. The huge comfortable bed was a plus. The hotel is conveniently located near the motorway and within walking distance of the old town centre. The set menu dinner offered a good selection, with tender liver and a satisfactory steak. The free off-road parking and easy access to the highway were additional bonuses.

Spent Xmas at this hotel and it was a great experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with wonderful memory foam beds. The inclusive meal served during the festive period was fine, and we appreciated the free wine and water. The hotel provided a locked and covered parking space which was really helpful for guests who had a lot of luggage. The hotel is located near a lovely park, and there are plenty of restaurants serving different cuisines nearby. We also enjoyed the easy access to the railway station.

While the hotel was generally good, there were a few minor issues such as the coffee not being very hot. We would have appreciated a bathmat in the bathroom and some more hooks to hang clothes, as well as a handle for safe entry and exit from the bath.
